Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber published a comprehensive Rural Evidence Base for the whole Region in 2005. This can be studied on the Government Office website, click here to view

In September 2005 the Humber Rural Pathfinder commissioned research to produce of a more detailed Sub-Regional Rural Evidence Base, linked to and reflecting the structure of the regional model. This has been used to inform the development and implementation of the Humber Rural Pathfinder's Delivery Improvement Trials. The Sub-Regional Evidence Base was published in a limited edition of CD's aimed at supporting practitioners working directly on Pathfinder Trials. It examines the socio-economic health of the rural Humber and identifies challenges and opportunities for developing rural services and the rural economy.
